Yachthouse Residence Club
Yachthouse Residence Club is a complex of twin skyscrapers in the coastal city of Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina, southern Brazil. At 281 metres (922 feet) and 81 floors, the two buildings are the tallest in Brazil and the second-tallest in South America (second only to Gran Torre Santiago in Chile) since their completion in 2020, when they reached their maximum height, surpassing Infinity Coast, located in the same city. However, construction continued until mid-2022. Construction The building's construction involved about 600 workers and of concrete. The ''outrigger'' technique was employed. Extreme sports Owning to its height, Yachthouse has become, even before its completion, a preferred site for extreme sports. In November 2017, basejumpers from all across Brazil reunited to jump from a height. In January 2021, wingsuit enthusiasts used the building for their practice. Balneário Camboriú () is a coast beach city in the Brazilian southern state of Santa Catarina. The city, with its steep hills dropping down to the sea, is popular amongst South Americans. The main ocean boulevard is called ''Avenida Atlântica'' (Atlantic Avenue). Balneário Camboriú is famous for the cable car which (uniquely in the world) links the city's central beach and the beach of Laranjeiras. The city is located 10 km (6.2 mi) south of the city of Itajaí, 96 km (60 mi) south of the city of Joinville, and 80 km (50 mi) north of the state capital, Florianópolis. Millennium Palace
Millennium Palace Camboriú is a residential condominium skyscraper in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina, Brazil. It was the first building in 50 years to surpass Mirante do Vale as the tallest in Brazil, a position it held before being surpassed by Infinity Coast in 2019. Millennium Palace has 45 floors up to, and including, the first floor of the two-floor penthouse, plus the additional second floor of the penthouse, totaling in height and 46 floors. Millennium Palace Residence is a luxury development project, and with one of the largest total investment values in Balneário Camboriú and also of Southern Brasil, due to the materials used and technology employed. Wingsuit flying (or wingsuiting) is the sport of skydiving using a webbing-sleeved jumpsuit called a wingsuit to add webbed area to the diver's body and generate increased lift, which allows extended air time by gliding flight rather than just free falling.
