Xplore Technologies is a publicly traded, designer, marketer and manufacturer of rugged tablets. The company was founded in 1996 and is based in Austin, Texas. The IP code or ingress protection code indicates how well a device is protected against water and dust. The ATEX directives are two EU directives describing the minimum safety requirements for workplaces and equipment used in explosive atmospheres.
