Xiangying
Xiangying Township () is a township on the north of Yanqing District, Beijing, China. It borders Houcheng Town to its north, Qianjiadian Town and Liubinbu Township to its east, Yongning and Shenjiaying Towns to its south, and Zhangshanying Town to its west. In 2020, its population was 6.019. The township was named Xiangying () after Xiangying Village that hosts the township's government. Geography Xiangying Township is situated at the foothill of Mount Jinyang, which is a part of the larger Yan Mountain Range. Baihepu Reservoir is at the north of the region. This is a list of township-level divisions of the municipality of Beijing, People's Republic of China (PRC). After province, prefecture, and county-level divisions, township-level divisions constitute the formal fourth-level administrative divisions of the PRC. However, as Beijing is a province-level municipality, the prefecture-level divisions are absent and so county-level divisions are at the second level, and township-level divisions are at the third level of administration. Yanqing District
Yanqing District (), formerly known as Yanqing County before 2015, is a District (China), district of the municipality of Beijing located northwest of the city proper of Beijing. Yongning, Beijing
Yongning Town () is a town in the Yanqing District of Beijing. It is a small town in rural Beijing but has a long history as an economic and military center. A government initiative in the 2000s to rehabilitate the town has restored its architectural landmarks. It is located to the south of Xiangying and Liubinbao Townships, west of Sihai and Jiuduhe Towns, north of Dazhuangke Township and Jingzhuang Town, and east of Shenjiaying and Jiuxian Towns. Liubinbu
Liubinbu Township () is a township situated on the northeastern side of Yanqing District, Beijing, China. It shares border with Qianjiadian Town to its north, Sihai Town to its east, Yongning Town to its south, and Xiangying Township to its west. It had 4,497 people residing within its boundaries in 2020. Geography Liubinbu Township sits inside of a basin within Yan Mountain Range. S323 Yanliu Road goes through the town. Qianjiadian Town () is a town in the Yanqing District of Beijing. It shares border with Dongmao Town to the north, Baoshan Town and Zhenzhuquan Township to the east, Sihai Town and Liubinbao Township to the south, and Xiangying Township to the west. Yan Mountains
The Yan Mountains, also known by their Chinese name Yanshan, are a major mountain range to the north of the North China Plain, principally in the province of Hebei. The range rises between the Chaobai River on the west and the Shanhai Pass on the east. It is made up mostly of limestone, granite, and basalt. Its altitude ranges from 400 to 1000 meters. Zhangshanying
Zhangshanying Town () is a town in the Yanqing District of Beijing. It shares border with Dahaituo Township in the north, Jiuxian and Shenjiaying Towns in the east, Yanqing Town in the south, and Beixinpu Town in the west. As of 2020, Zhangshanying had a population of 24,249. Its name Zhangshanying () orginated in 1644, when Li Zicheng stationed his troops in Zhang Mountain after he entered Beijing. Shenjiaying Town () is a town in the Yanqing District of Beijing. It shares border with Zhangshanying and Jiuxian Towns in the north, Yongning Town in the east, Jingzhuang and Dayushu Towns in the south, and Yanqing Town in the west. In 2020, it was home to 16,661. Townships Of China
Townships (), formally township-level divisions (), are the basic level (fourth-level administrative units) of political divisions in China. They are similar to municipalities and communes in other countries and in turn may contain village committees and villages.
