Xou Da Xuxa
''Xou da Xuxa'' ( en, Xuxa's Show, italic=yes) was a Brazilian children's television series directed by Marlene Mattos, and hosted by Xuxa Meneghel. It premiered on TV Globo between 30 June 1986 and 31 December 1992, with 2000 editions completed. ''Xou'' replaced the ''Balão Mágico'' program. Later, it was repeated between January and February 1993, in the transition of the changes of programming of the transmitter. Then, Globo replaced the reprises of the Show by the reruns of the ''Mallandro Show'', presented by Sérgio Mallandro. At the same time, the children's program ''Mundo da Lua'' TV Cultura, was also on display. In the daily grid of TV Globo, the ''Xou of Xuxa'' was replaced by TV Colosso, while the presenter prepared its program displayed on Sundays. Mundo Da Lua
''Mundo da Lua'' (''World of the Moon'') is a Brazilian children's fantasy television series that aired on TV Cultura from 6 October 1991 to 27 September 1992, totalling 52 episodes. It was created by Flávio de Souza and starred Luciano Amaral. It is currently shown on TV Rá-Tim-Bum. Plot The series features Lucas Silva e Silva (Luciano Amaral), a ten-year-old boy who lives with his grandparents, parents, sister and maid in a townhouse in São Paulo. His father, Rogério (Antônio Fagundes), is a teacher who works hard, and his mother, Carolina (Mira Haar), works at a boutique. Carmen Miranda
Carmen Miranda, (; born Maria do Carmo Miranda da Cunha, 9 February 1909 – 5 August 1955) was a Portuguese-born Brazilian samba singer, dancer, Broadway actress and film star who was active from the late 1920s onwards. Nicknamed "The Brazilian Bombshell", Miranda was known for her signature fruit hat outfit that she wore in her American films. As a young woman, she designed hats in a boutique before making her first recordings with composer Josué de Barros in 1929. ''Xuxa'' is an American children's television series hosted by Xuxa Meneghel that aired in first-run syndication between September 13 and December 10, 1993, for a total of 65 episodes. The program, which was based on Rede Globo's '' Xou da Xuxa'', was created by Thomas W. Lynch and Marlene Mattos, with MTM Enterprises handing production. The show works with several blocks, where in each block, a game is presented. The program also received famous people or diverse professionals, as well as educational lessons. In 1992, the program was in dispute to be created by MTM Enterprises, who had different ideas of a show for the Brazilian children's hosts. However, Xuxa considered the idea of MTM was more interesting, and ended up getting the company in the end. ''El Show de Xuxa'' was an Argentine Children's television series hosted by Xuxa, between May 6, 1991 and December 31, 1993 and directed by Marlene Mattos. It was through this program that Xuxa expanded its appeal among Hispanic audiences, the ''Los Angeles Times'' speculated that "more than 20 million children" watched the Xuxa Show in 16 Latin American countries every day, as well as Univision in the States The newspaper also highlighted the fact that it is "probably better known among Latino kids than Michael Jackson." Armando Morales
Armando Morales (January 15, 1927 – November 16, 2011) was an internationally renowned Nicaraguan painter. Morales is considered one of the most important painters of Nicaragua. Morales, who was born in Granada, Nicaragua, received many awards for his works. He received his first award at the Central American Painting Contest "15 de Septiembre" (September 15) which was held in Guatemala in 1956. He received the award for a painting which he named "Spook-Tree". That same painting was later bought by the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
