Xorcist
Xorcist is the name of an American musical group whose output has ranged from electro-industrial and ambient. Background Peter Stone (a.k.a. Bat) formed Xorcist in 1990 as a one-man act. By 1997, Xorcist grew to include Evoltwin. In addition to providing some vocals, Evoltwin created the cover art for ''Soul Reflection'' and other subsequent releases. Stone also created two side projects, Xenon and Diode Fetish. Stone still DJs and VJs under the name DJ/VJ Bat, and maintains the Xorcist.com website to promote his work. Bad Mojo
''Bad Mojo'' is an adventure video game by Pulse Entertainment, released in 1996. The player is cast as Roger Samms, an entomologist planning to embezzle money from a research grant to escape his sordid life above an abandoned bar. An accident with his mother's enchanted locket unleashes a curse — the titular '' bad mojo'' — that turns him into a cockroach. The storyline in ''Bad Mojo'' is loosely based on Franz Kafka's 1915 novella ''The Metamorphosis''; Roger Samms' name is an imperfect anagram of the lead character's in ''Metamorphosis'' (Gregor Samsa), and a cat called Franz appears in the game. The gameplay consists of guiding the cockroach through a series of puzzles. Got Game Entertainment re-released the game in December 2004 as ''Bad Mojo Redux'', packaging it with a DVD containing a variety of extra material. Pendragon Records
Pendragon Records was a short-lived American industrial and electronic music record label that was founded in 1997 by Irish expatriate Colm O'Connor. The label was based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pendragon released a total of 25 albums from artists based in the United States, Canada, and Germany. Notable bands signed to Pendragon included Haujobb, Gridlock, Velvet Acid Christ, and Xorcist. Its first release, PEN100, was Haujobb's ''Homes and Gardens''. The label was bought out by Metropolis Records in 1999 shortly after it released Halo_Gen's self-titled album as PEN125. When Metropolis Records bought Pendragon, they continued to sell Pendragon's backstock. Some of the bands that had been signed to Pendragon, such as Haujobb and Imperative Reaction, continued to release music on Metropolis Records. 21st Circuitry was a record label based in San Francisco, California, that was founded in early 1991. The label released music from genres, such as electro-industrial, industrial rock, and other similar styles of music. The label signed a number of artists, including, Covenant, Unit:187, and Xorcist, as well as releasing a number of compilation albums targeted at the industrial scene. ''Iron Helix'' is a FMV adventure video game made for Windows, Macintosh, and the Sega CD. It was an early example of a CD-based game, including video elements integrated with conventional 2D maps and controls. The compact disc (CD) is a Digital media, digital optical disc data storage format that was co-developed by Philips and Sony to store and play digital audio recordings.
