Xili railway station is a railway station in the Nanshan District, Shenzhen on the Pingnan Railway. The station will be one of two terminals of the under construction Ganzhou–Shenzhen high-speed railway Ganzhou–Shenzhen high-speed railway, or Ganzhou–Shenzhen section of Beijing–Hong Kong (Taipei) corridor, Beijing–Hong Kong corridor, is a high-speed railway from Shenzhen and the Pearl River Delta through northeast Guangdong province to G ..., the other being . History On September2, 2007, two empty freight carriages derailed at a switch beside the station. The carriages were damaged and services on the railway suspended. Ganzhou–Shenzhen High-speed Railway
Ganzhou–Shenzhen high-speed railway, or Ganzhou–Shenzhen section of Beijing–Hong Kong (Taipei) corridor, Beijing–Hong Kong corridor, is a high-speed railway from Shenzhen and the Pearl River Delta through northeast Guangdong province to Ganzhou in Jiangxi province. It will form part of Beijing–Hong Kong (Taipei) corridor, Beijing–Hong Kong corridor. The railway opened on 10 December 2021. Shenzhen–Zhanjiang High-speed Railway
The Shenzhen–Zhanjiang railway is a high-speed railway across the south of Guangdong province. Currently it runs from Jiangmen to Zhanjiang West. It will link the cities of Shenzhen and Zhanjiang when complete. History Announced as part of the 12th Five Year Plan for 2011–2016, it was projected that construction of this railway would begin. Tenders were called for early in 2013 with construction to begin before the end of that year. Construction officially began on 28 June 2014. The Jiangmen–Maoming section opened on 1 July 2018.
