The Xiaomi Mi A1 (also known as Xiaomi Mi 5X), is a smartphone co-developed by Google—as part of its Android One initiative—and Xiaomi that runs on the Android operating system. An accelerometer is a tool that measures proper acceleration. A proximity sensor is a sensor able to detect the presence of nearby objects without any physical contact. A proximity sensor often emits an electromagnetic field or a beam of electromagnetic radiation (infrared, for instance), and looks for changes in the field or return signal.
