Xiangshan Visitor Center
The Xiangshan Visitor Center () is a visitor center overlooking Sun Moon Lake in Yuchi Township, Nantou County, Taiwan. History The center was constructed in 2010. Architecture The center was designed by architect Dan Norihiko with a theme of promoting the harmonious integration between human habitation and the natural world. The structure consists of two curved wings with central canopies, the latter each measuring in length and in height. Nantou County
Nantou County (; Hokkien POJ: ''Lâm-tâu-koān''; Hakka PFS: ''Nàm-thèu-yen'') is the second largest county of Taiwan by area, located in the central part of the country. Sun Moon Lake
Sun Moon Lake (; Thao: ''Zintun'') is a lake in Yuchi Township, Nantou County, Taiwan. It is the largest body of water in Taiwan. The area around the lake is home to the Thao tribe, one of aboriginal tribes of Taiwan. Sun Moon Lake surrounds a tiny island called Lalu. The east side of the lake resembles a sun while the west side resembles a moon, hence the name. Sun Moon Lake is located above sea level. It is deep and has a surface area of approximately .
