Włodzimierz (given name), Włodzimierz Szpak (born 11 February 1950) is a Polish documentary film director, photographer and author. Biography Włodzimierz Szpak was born in Milanówek by Warsaw, Poland. He graduated from University of Warsaw in 1975. After that he continued his studies at the National Film School in Łódź, National Film School (in Łódź, Poland). He is a member of Polish Filmmakers Association. Work He was active in an area of documentary film-making. There are 28 films of that kind in his creative production. Nevertheless, he started his career with the Psychological fiction, psychological story entitled "Ona" ("She") in the narrative film "On, ona, oni" ("He, She, They"). Milanówek
Milanówek is a town and a seat of a separate gmina, commune in Poland. Located next to the Grodzisk Mazowiecki County near Warsaw, it is often considered an outlying suburb of the capital of Poland but is in fact an independent entity administratively and culturally. Milanówek is however part of wider Warsaw agglomeration. Located on the Middle Masovian Plain, between Grodzisk Mazowiecki and Pruszkow, the town has approximately 15,449 inhabitants. Milanówek is served by Milanówek railway station. Henryk Adam Aleksander Pius Sienkiewicz ( , ; 5 May 1846 – 15 November 1916), also known by the pseudonym Litwos (), was a Polish writer, novelist, journalist and Nobel Prize laureate. He is best remembered for his historical novels, especially for his internationally known best-seller ''Quo Vadis'' (1896). Born into an impoverished Polish noble family in Russian-ruled Congress Poland, in the late 1860s he began publishing journalistic and literary pieces. In the late 1870s he traveled to the United States, sending back travel essays that won him popularity with Polish readers. In the 1880s he began serializing novels that further increased his popularity. Filmweb is an online database of information related to films, television series, actors and film crew personnel. Since 2011, the database also contains video games. Włodzimierz Puchalski
Włodzimierz Puchalski (March 6, 1908 – January 19, 1979) was a Polish photographer and film director. Life Puchalski was born in Velyki Mosty, near Lwów (then in Austria-Hungary, now Lviv in Ukraine). He studied at the Politechnika Lwowska to become an Agronomy, agronomic engineer. He began his photographic career while in the Cadet Corps and during his college studies, initially photographing waterfowl in the fish ponds at Żółkiew (Zhovkva) from hideouts made of grass, and, later, carnivorous birds in Sokal. He also recorded hunting scenes of the Polish nobility. He was the first person to use the term "bloodless hunt" to describe hunting wildlife with the use of film and a still photo camera. During World War II, he worked as a forest ranger in the Sandomierz Forest only to return to his passion after the war. Świętokrzyskie Mountains
The Świętokrzyskie Mountains ( pl, Góry Świętokrzyskie, ), often anglicized to Holy Cross Mountains, are a mountain range in central Poland, near the city of Kielce. The Świętokrzyskie Mountains are some of the oldest mountains in Europe, and the highest between the Sudetes and the Ural Mountains.
