Wurundjeri Walk Trail
__NOTOC__ The Wurundjeri Walk Trail is a shared use path for cyclists and pedestrians in the inner eastern suburbs of Blackburn South and Forest Hill in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The path is broken by many small road sections. For this entry, the eastern end is considered to be Mahoneys Road that leads to Forest Hill Chase. Following the trail The west end of Wurundjeri Walk Trail starts at Boardman Close, near the clubhouse of the Box Hill golf club. Right at Nash Road, left at Joyhill Avenue, left again at Penrose Street, right into Mirabella Crescent and finally left into Middleborough Road. A pedestrian is a person traveling on foot, whether walking or running. In modern times, the term usually refers to someone walking on a road or pavement, but this was not the case historically. Blackburn South is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 16 km east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Whitehorse local government area. Blackburn South recorded a population of 10,939 at the 2021 census. Blackburn South is bordered by Canterbury Road, Middleborough Road, Eley Road, and by an irregular line to the east of Blackburn Road. Forest Hill Chase Shopping Centre is a major regional shopping centre located in the eastern suburb of Forest Hill in Melbourne, Australia. Owned by Blackstone and managed by JLL, the centre is among the oldest in Victoria, opening on 30 June 1964 as an outdoor strip shopping centre, before being developed over the years into its current three level indoor form. Gardiners Creek Trail
__NOTOC__ The Gardiners Creek Trail is a shared use path for cyclists and pedestrians, which follows Gardiners Creek through the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Bicycle Victoria is campaigning for a connection between Winton Road and Warrigal Road, to complete the gap in the trail at this point. It is proposed that the path would continue along the creek parallel to the Malvern Public Golf Course, spanning the gap from Winton Road to Warrigal Road. Following the path The path begins as a branch of the Main Yarra Trail, opposite St Kevin's College and Scotch College, close to Kooyong railway station (on the Glen Waverley line); between the suburbs of Toorak, Hawthorn, and Kooyong. Syndal Heatherdale Pipe Reserve Trail
__NOTOC__ The Syndal Heatherdale Pipe Reserve Trail is a shared use path for cyclists and pedestrians, which follows the Syndal to Heatherdale pipe reserve in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The trail is navigable from one end to the other but most of the path is a poorly maintained gravel surface, with the only paved surface being between Highbury Road and Ballantyne Street. Monash Council has released a tender for construction of the section from Highbury Road to High Street Road, while Whitehorse Council is currently planning for construction of the path from Mahoneys Road to Norma Road.
