Wuhan–Jiujiang Railway
The Wuhan–Jiujiang railway or Wujiu railway (), is a Double track, double-track, Railway electrification system, electrified railroad in central China, central China between Wuhan in Hubei Province and Jiujiang in Jiangxi Province. The line is long and follows the south bank of the Yangtze River from Wuchang District in Wuhan to Lushan Station in Jiujiang. Major cities and towns along route include Wuhan, Huarong District, Huarong, Huanggang, Ezhou, Huangshi, Daye, Hubei, Daye Yangxin County, Hubei, Yangxin, Ruichang and Jiujiang. History The Wuhan–Jiujiang railway was created from the merger of the Wuhan–Daye and Daye–Shahejie railways in December 1989. The Wuhan–Daye or Wuda railway, from Wuchang District, Wuchang to Daye, Hubei, Daye, was built in 1958 to facilitate the transport of iron ore mined in Tieshan District near Daye. Hubei
Hubei (; ; alternately Hupeh) is a landlocked province of the People's Republic of China, and is part of the Central China region. The name of the province means "north of the lake", referring to its position north of Dongting Lake. Ezhou
Ezhou () is a prefecture-level city in eastern Hubei Province, China. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 1,079,353, of which 695,697 lived in the core Echeng District. The Ezhou - Huanggang built-up (''or metro'') area was home to 1,152,559 inhabitants made of the Echeng and Huangzhou, Huanggang Districts. Beijing–Kowloon Railway
The Beijing–Kowloon railway, also known as the Jingjiu railway () is a railway connecting Beijing West railway station in Beijing to Shenzhen railway station in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. Hefei–Wuhan Railway
The Hefei–Wuhan railway () is a high-speed railway in Chinese provinces of Anhui and Hubei, with trains running from Anhui's capital Hefei to Hubei's capital Wuhan. The railway opened on 31 December 2008, high-speed services started on April 1, 2009. at and has been used by Shanghai–Nanjing–Hefei–Wuhan express trains since then. As of July 2010, scheduling systems showed nine daily D-series express trains running in each direction between Hefei and Wuhan's three train stations (Wuhan, Hankou, and Wuchang), making the trip in 2 hours to 2 hrs 40 min. Another six Shanghai-Wuhan D-series trains passed this section without stopping in Hefei. Tieshan District
Tieshan District () is a district of the prefecture-level city of Huangshi, Hubei province, People's Republic of China. Small in area (), it is squeezed between the "county-level city" Daye to the south and west, Huangshi's Xialu District to the east, and the prefecture-level city of Ezhou to the north.
