Wuhan University School of Law is the law school of Wuhan University in Wuhan, China. The School of Law was oft-referred as one of the "Four Famous Law Schools" in China, and one of the "four departments and five colleges," representing the highest level of legal education in China. According to a 2009 evaluation conducted by the Chinese Ministry of Education, Wuhan Law was ranked the 3rd among the law schools in China, tied with Peking University. Both its undergraduate and graduate programs are ranked the 3rd in China by Wu Shulian. Wuhan (, ; ; ) is the capital of Hubei, Hubei Province in the China, People's Republic of China. It is the largest city in Hubei and the most populous city in Central China, with a population of over eleven million, the List of cities in China by population, ninth-most populous Chinese city and one of the nine National Central City, National Central Cities of China. Mei Ju-ao
Mei Ju-ao (; 7 November 1904 – 23 April 1973) was a Chinese jurist, professor, politician and author. Education Mei was born in Nanchang, in eastern China's Jiangxi province. At the age of 12, Ju-ao was admitted into a school on the site of what is now Tsinghua University, moving from Nanchang to Beijing in pursuit of a good education. After graduating, he received financial assistance to study at Stanford University in California, graduating with a bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts in 1926. While there, he was elected a member of Phi Beta Kappa Society. Mei later received a doctorate in law (Juris Doctor) from the University of Chicago in 1928. After spending a year traveling around Europe, Mei returned to China in 1929. He served as professor of law at Nankai University and Fudan University, as a legal adviser to the Ministry of the Interior of the Nationalist Government, and as a member of the Legislative Yuan.

The Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK), also commonly known, especially when referenced historically, as the Left Kuomintang or Left Guomindang, is one of the eight legally recognised minor political parties in the People's Republic of China that follow the direction of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). It was founded in January 1948, during the height of the Chinese Civil War, by members of the left wing of the Kuomintang (KMT), especially those who were against Chiang Kai-shek's policies. A high people's court or higher people's court (高级人民法院) is the highest local court in the People's Republic of China. In each province, it is subject to the "People's Congress".
