Woodland Hills Mall is a 1+ million square foot, super regional shopping mall located at 7021 S. Memorial Drive in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. It was originally developed by Homart Development Company, and opened in August 1976. Woodland Hills Mall features 148 specialty shops and restaurants, 80 of which are unique to the Tulsa area. The anchor stores are JCPenney, Macy's, and Dillard's. History Woodland Hills Mall opened in 1976 with Sears (which was open prior to the rest of the mall), John A. Brown and Dillard's as its first anchor stores, as well as over a hundred specialty stores spread among the mall's two stories. Tulsa Promenade Mall is a shopping center located in the Midtown section of Tulsa, Oklahoma. It is anchored by Dillard's, Genesis Health Clubs, Extra Space Storage, and a fourth anchor last occupied by Macy's until March 26, 2017. The mall sits on 22 acres of land. History The original structure was built in 1965 as an outdoor shopping center called Southland, anchored by Brown-Dunkin (now Dillard's) and JCPenney. In 1986, the property was rebuilt as an indoor mall, retaining the Dillard's and JCPenney stores as anchors while adding Mervyn's as a third. Campbell Company developed the original plaza, and Robert B. Aikens converted it to the present-day mall structure. Eastgate Metroplex is an indoor mixed-use professional/retail complex in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The building was originally a shopping mall that opened in 1984 as the Eastland Mall, but was revitalized into its current use after years of decline. History Construction of the mall began during the mid-1970s. But after only partial construction had taken place, the property sat vacant and unfinished for nearly a decade. Around 1984, it was finally open to the public as Eastland Mall and reached full tenancy by the late 1980s.
