Wollert Krohn-Hansen
Wollert Krohn-Hansen (28 December 1889—3 April 1973) was a Norwegian theologian and pastor. He was the Bishop of the Diocese of Hålogaland from 1940 until 1952, and was instrumental in dividing it into two smaller dioceses. After the division of the diocese, he was appointed as the first Bishop of the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland from 1952 until his retirement in 1959. Biography He was born at Kristiansund in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. In 1914, he received his Cand.theol. degree from the MF Norwegian School of Theology in Oslo. In 1915 he began his career as a parish priest in Værøy and Røst. He worked there until 1922 when he moved to Ofoten. From 1929 until 1936 he was the priest of Narvik. From 1936 until 1940 he was the priest of Tromsø Cathedral. In 1940, fourteen days before the German invasion of Norway, he was named the Bishop of the Diocese of Hålogaland. Hans Edvard Wisløff
Hans Edvard Wisløff (1902–1969) was a Norwegian theologian and writer. He was also the Bishop of the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland from 1959 until his death in 1969. Wisløff received his Cand.theol. degree in 1926 from the MF Norwegian School of Theology in Oslo. He spent most of his career serving in several parishes in the Oslo area. He was the assistant pastor in Oppegård from 1926 until 1932. Then from 1932 until 1940 he served as the priest for the Tøyen Church. From 1940 until 1945 he worked as the resident chaplain at the Trefoldighet Church (Oslo), Trefoldighet Church. From 1945 until 1954 he was the general secretary of the ''Indremisjonsselskapet'' mission society and the editor of the ''For fattig og rik'' newspaper. Sigurd Johan Normann (1879—1939) was a Norwegian theologian and bishop of the Church of Norway. He was the Bishop for the Diocese of Hålogaland from 1937 until his death in 1939. Normann was born in 1879 in Hamarøy, Norway. He received his cand.theol. degree in 1909 from the Faculty of Theology at the University of Oslo. He received his Doctor of Theology degree in 1935. Bodø Cathedral ( no, Bodø domkirke) is a cathedral of the Church of Norway in Bodø Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the town of Bodø.
