Wolf Bros
Wolf Bros – also known as Bob Weir & Wolf Bros or Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros – is a rock band led by former Grateful Dead guitarist and singer Bob Weir. The band plays some Grateful Dead songs along with other roots rock music. History Wolf Bros formed in 2018 as a trio, with Bob Weir on guitar and vocals, Don Was on double bass, and Jay Lane on drums. Billed as Bob Weir & Wolf Bros, they toured the U.S. with 19 concerts in the fall of that year. In the spring of 2019 they played another concert tour with 20 more shows. In the spring of 2020 the band began a 22-date tour, which was cancelled in the middle because of the COVID-19 pandemic. On New Year's Eve 2020 Bob Weir & Wolf Bros, with Jeff Chimenti on keyboards and Greg Leisz on pedal steel guitar, livestreamed a concert from TRI Studios. The Pageant
The Pageant (also called The Pageant Concert Nightclub) is a popular American nightclub in St. Louis, Missouri. Built as a dedicated nightclub, The Pageant first opened its doors on October 19, 2000. It was named for a "long-gone Pageant movie theater" that once stood three blocks away. Located in St. Louis at 6161 Delmar Boulevard on the east end of the Delmar Loop, The Pageant has been described by the ''Riverfront Times'' as "St. Louis' premier midsize venue". Mads Tolling (born July 5, 1980) is a Danish-American violinist, violist, composer and two-time Grammy Award-Winner. As a former member of the Turtle Island Quartet and bassist Stanley Clarke’s band, Tolling is today leading his own projects and bands. He won Grammy Awards for Best Classical Crossover Album as part of Turtle Island Quartet's recordings ''4+Four'' (2006) and ''A Love Supreme - The Legacy of John Coltrane'' (2008). He recorded on Stanley Clarke's '' The Toys of Men'' (2007). TRI is a state-of-the-art multimedia performance studio, designed for broadcasting live high definition (HD) video and audio streams directly over the internet. Furthur On Tuesday, June 7, 2011, Furthur performed live at Tamalpais Research Institute. The event, billed as Furthur Experiments at TRI, was broadcast in real time over the internet in HD video with stereo sound and was available to those who ordered the pay-per-view event for $19.95. Greg Leisz
Gregory Brian Leisz ( ; born September 18, 1949) is an American musician. He is a songwriter, recording artist, and producer. He plays guitar, dobro, mandolin, lap steel and pedal steel guitar. Biography Leisz grew up in the garage band culture of mid-1960s Southern California. He spent time at the Ashgrove, the Troubador, and clubs on the Sunset Strip . He began playing guitar and soon added dobro and lap steel. He was inspired to pick up the pedal steel after hearing Sneaky Pete Kleinow and Buddy Emmons. In 1975, he toured with John Stewart (formerly of The Kingston Trio). He was a member of Funky Kings who released their eponymous debut album on Arista Records in 1976. After the band broke up, he became a popular musician both in the studio and on the road. In 1987, Leisz began working with Dave Alvin (formerly of The Blasters).
