John T. Windsor (born April 3, 1940) is an American former basketball player for the San Francisco Warriors in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played one season with the Warriors in the 1963–64 season. Windsor played college basketball for the Stanford Cardinal, where he was an All-Athletic Association of Western Universities first team selection in 1962. Walter Windsor
Walter Windsor (18 July 1884 – 29 June 1945) was a British Labour Party politician. A native of Bethnal Green in the East End of London, he held a seat in the House of Commons from 1923 to 1929, and from 1935 to 1945, when he died. Bethnal Green Windsor was elected at the 1923 general election as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bethnal Green North East, an area where his family had lived for six generations. Through the 1920s it was a marginal seat between the Liberal Party and Labour Parties, and Windsor won it narrowly at two elections, holding the seat from 1923 to 1929. He had contested the seat unsuccessfully in 1922 as a "Labour" candidate, even though he had been nominated by the Communist Party, and had not received the endorsement of the Labour Party. Antony Harold Curties Windsor, (born 2 September 1950) is a former Australian politician. Windsor was an independent member for the New South Wales Legislative Assembly seat of Tamworth from 1991 to 2001 − supporting the incumbent Greiner Liberal/National Coalition minority government at the 1991 election. He subsequently entered federal politics, serving as an independent member for the Australian House of Representatives seat of New England from 2001 until retiring in 2013 − supporting the incumbent Gillard Labor minority government at the 2010 election. Roger Windsor
Roger Windsor was chief executive of the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) between 1983 and 1989, including during the 1984 miners' strike. He later moved to France and then to Herefordshire. Windsor was accused of damaging the image of the union by visiting Libya during the strike and meeting Colonel Gaddafi, at the time an enemy of the United Kingdom. Windsor went to Libya, possibly in an attempt to put NUM funds beyond the reach of the government.
