Willie Watson (New Zealand Cricketer)
William Watson (born 31 August 1965) is a former New Zealand cricketer. A right-arm fast-medium bowler, Watson played 15 Tests and 61 One Day Internationals for New Zealand between 1986 and 1994. He took his best Test bowling figures of 6 for 78 against Pakistan in Lahore in October 1990. Watson played first-class cricket for Auckland from 1984–85 to 1994–95. He took his best first-class figures of 7 for 60 in Auckland's innings victory over Central Districts in 1989–90. Since retiring from cricket, Watson has worked for Lion, Cadbury and DB Breweries DB Breweries is a New Zealand-based brewing company, owned by Heineken Asia Pacific. Société Bic S.A., commonly called Bic and stylized as BiC, is a French manufacturing corporation based in Clichy, Hauts-de-Seine. It sells a world-leading brand of lighters and pens since its founding by Marcel Bich (1914–1994) in 1945, and a competitive amount of shaving goods. For several years, it sponsored Formula One and bicycle racers. Founded in 1930 by Sir Henry Kelliher and W Joseph Coutts, the partners purchased Levers and Co. and the Waitemata Brewery Co. in Otahuhu. Asia Pacific Breweries acquired DB Breweries in 2004, which in turn was bought-out by Heineken International in 2012. The company mainly produces pale lager, whilst its Tui brand is one of the better-known beers in New Zealand, partly due to strong advertising.
