Willie Mullins (born September 30, 1980) is an American professional stock car racing owner-driver. He is currently scheduled to compete part-time in the ARCA Menards Series for his own team, Mullins Racing. Racing career Early racing career In 2006, he would win the SCCA V8 Grand National champion, along with receiving Rookie of the Year honors. ARCA Menards Series Throughout 2008–2012, he would race one-off events at New Jersey Motorsports Park, receiving a best of 15th in 2011. An owner-driver in NASCAR is a NASCAR driver who fully or partially owns the team they are driving for full-time or part-time. The practice has been established since the beginning of NASCAR in 1949. However, owner-drivers are almost nonexistent today in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, primarily due to the expense and responsibilities involved, essentially having two jobs in one. The Calypso Lemonade 150 is an ARCA Menards Series/ARCA Menards Series East combination race held at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa. The inaugural race was held on October 15, 2006 and was 250 laps in length. The race was shortened to 200 laps in 2009 and 150 laps in 2013.
