The Western Sahara national football team ( ar, منتخب الصحراء الغربية لكرة القدم, es, Selección de fútbol del Sahara Occidental) represents Western Sahara (SADR), a disputed territory, in association football. Controlled by the Sahrawi Football Federation, they are members of World Unity Football Alliance for non-FIFA-affiliated nations. Sahrawi Football Federation
The Sahrawi Football Federation (FSF) ( ar, الاتحاد الصحراوي لكرة القدم, es, Federación Saharaui de Fútbol) is the governing body of association football in Western Sahara, a territory that is disputed between Morocco and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic. It was formed in 1989 and it is based in the city of Laayoune. The board runs the Sahrawi national football team. The Sahrawi Football Federation hosts the Sahrawi Republic Cup. International affiliation The Sahrawi Football Federation is not affiliated to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) nor to FIFA. The Macau national football team (; pt, Selecção Macaense de Futebol) represents the Chinese special administrative region of Macau in international association football. The Basque Country representative football team (officially, in Basque, 'Euskal selekzioa') represents the Basque Country in football. It selects players from the Basque Country autonomous community, Navarre and the French Basque Country and is organised by the Basque Football Federation. It is not affiliated with FIFA or UEFA and therefore only allowed to play friendly matches against FIFA or non-FIFA affiliated teams. Rachid Mekhloufi ( ar, رشيد مخلوفي; born 12 August 1936 in Sétif, French Algeria) is a French-Algerian former football striker. He later became a manager and coached the Algeria national football team. International career In the middle of the Algerian War, on 13 April 1958, ten of the most well-known France-Based professional football (soccer) players fled from France to go and play for their new FLN football team. This team was created from the National Liberation Front (Algeria). One of these 10 players was Rachid Mekhloufi. The 2012 VIVA World Cup was the fifth and final VIVA World Cup, an international tournament for football open to non-FIFA-affiliated teams, played in the Iraqi Kurdistan.
