''We the People'' is a 2021 American Animation, animated streaming television series. Created by Chris Nee and executive produced by Kenya Barris, Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, the series premiered on July 4, 2021 on Netflix. Episodes Production ''We the People'' was conceived by Chris Nee at a dinner party in Los Angeles, California in November 2018. Nee cites ''Schoolhouse Rock!'' as one of the most significant inspirations for the series. H.E.R. described working alongside the Obamas on the series as a "life-changing" experience. Chris Nee
Christine Nee is an American children's television screenwriter and TV producer, producer. Nee is best known as the creator of ''Doc McStuffins'', which she conceived as ''Cheers'' for preschoolers. She has previously worked as an associate producer on several Sesame Street international co-productions, international versions of ''Sesame Street''. Career Nee said that while she did not originally connect with any shows because she did not see herself "represented onscreen," she first tried to be an actor. Cordae Amari Dunston (born August 26, 1997) known mononymously as Cordae (formerly YBN Cordae and Entendre), is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter.
