Gap (landform)
A gap is a geological formation that is a low point or opening between hills or mountains or in a ridge or mountain range. It may be called a col, notch, mountain pass, pass, saddle (landform), saddle, water gap, or wind gap, and geomorphology, geomorphologically is most often carved by water erosion from a freshet, stream or a river. Gaps created by freshets are often, if not normally, devoid of water through much of the year, their streams being dependent upon the meltwaters of a snow pack. Wan Chai District
Wan Chai District is one of the districts of Hong Kong, 18 districts of Hong Kong. Of the four on Hong Kong Island, it is north-central, and had 152,608 residents in 2011, a fall from 167,146 residents in 2001. The district has the second-highest educationally qualified residents with the highest-bracket incomes, the second-lowest population and the third-oldest quotient. Hong Kong Police Museum
The Police Museum is a museum dedicated to the history of policing in Hong Kong. The museum is housed in the former Wan Chai Gap Police Station, located at 27 Coombe Road, Wan Chai Gap, The Peak. About 1,200 exhibits are displayed in the Museum and there is generally one rotating specialised exhibition display. The Police Museum is currently working on a revitalisation project. The museum had been temporarily closed for renovation from 2021-05-31 and will be re-opened in March 2022. History The Police Museum was forerun by the Police Historical Records Committee which formed in 1964. Aberdeen Country Park
Aberdeen Country Park is located on the south end of Hong Kong Island near the area called Aberdeen, Hong Kong. Much of the south side of the island is underdeveloped and retains more of the rural feel that predominated on the island before it was settled by the British. The park extends to Wan Chai Gap on the north. The 4.23 square kilometre country park opened in 1931. Like other country parks of Hong Kong, Aberdeen is based on land surrounding reservoirs, in this case the Upper and Lower Reservoirs. The reservoirs were completed in 1932. Designated on 28 October 1977, Aberdeen Country Park is one of the oldest country parks in Hong Kong. The scenery of the park can be appreciated from Peak Road and Guildford Road. Magazine Gap Road is a winding road on the affluent and ultra-expensive Mid-Levels and the Peak on the Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. It is one of the main access leading to the Peak area. Gaps is a member of the Montana group of Patience games, where the goal is to arrange all the cards in suit from Deuce (a Two card) to King. Other solitaire games in this family include Spaces, Addiction, Vacancies, Clown Solitaire, Paganini, Montana itself, Red Moon, and Blue Moon. Sometimes these alternate names are used to refer to the same game. Rules The cards are dealt into four rows of thirteen. The aces are removed and discarded from further play. The gaps that they leave behind are filled by cards that are the same suit and a rank higher than the card on the left of the gap. (For example, 4♣ can be placed beside 3♣.) However, any gap at the right of a King is considered dead and no card can fill it.
