''Wallop'' is the eighth studio album by American dance-punk group !!!, released on August 30, 2019, on Warp Records. It was recorded primarily in Brooklyn at frontman Nic Offer's apartment. It features vocal contributions by Meah Pace, Cameron Mesirow, Angus Andrew of Liars and Maria Uzor of Sink Ya Teeth. Release The double A-side single "UR Paranoid" / "Off the Grid" was released on May 30, 2019. ''Wallop'' was announced on June 19, 2019, alongside the release of "Serbia Drums" as a single. "This Is the Door" was released as a single on August 6, 2019. "Couldn't Have Known" was released as the album's final single on August 27, 2019. Belgrade Youth Center ( sr, Dom omladine Beograda; abbr. DOB) is a cultural center in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, dedicated primarily to youth. History At the corner of the ''Dečanska'' and ''Makedonska'' streets, where the youth center is today, was the location of the ''kafana'' "Ginić". One of the most popular kafanas in Belgrade in its heyday, it was a gathering point of the journalists and reporters from the Politika daily, which was located nearby. The satirical magazine ' ("shaved hedgehog") was founded in the venue. Next to "Ginić" was another ''kafana'', "Prozor". !!! ( ), also known as Chk Chk Chk, is an American rock band from Sacramento, California, formed in 1996 by lead singer Nic Offer. Members of !!! came from other local bands such as the Yah Mos, Black Liquorice and Pope Smashers. They are currently based in New York City. The band's ninth album, ''Let It Be Blue'', was released in May 2022. Background and history !!! was formed in the fall of 1996 by the merger of members of the groups Black Liquorice and Pope Smashers, while on tour. After a successful joint tour, the two bands decided to mix the disco-funk with more aggressive sounds and integrate the hardcore singer Nic Offer from the Yah Mos. The band's name was inspired by the subtitles of the movie ''The Gods Must Be Crazy'', in which the clicking sounds of the San people's Juǀʼhoan language were represented as "!". , established in 1999, is the holding company at the head of a Japanese corporate group that supplies statistics and information on music and the music industry in Japan and Western music. It started as, which was founded by Sōkō Koike in November 1967 and became known for its music charts. Oricon Inc. was originally set up as a subsidiary of Original Confidence and took over the latter's Oricon record charts in April 2002. Robbie Lee (musician)
Robbie Lee is an American, New York-based composer and multi-instrumentalist. He specializes in improvisation, incorporating historical and early music instruments, in the intersection of experimental, classical and jazz music. Lee also releases music under the name Creature Automatic. In the mid-2000s Lee was a member of Neil Hagerty’s post Royal Trux group The Howling Hex, the Dax Riggs band and Love As Laughter. Amanda Lovejoy Street is a filmmaker and Dream Work Teacher based in upstate New York and Los Angeles. Her work explores our relationship with the unconscious and what is unearthed when we allow the unconscious impulses and images to arise. Her first short film, ''MAGIC BULLET'' (with Rosemarie DeWitt and Molly Parker) premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival in 2018. Liars is an Australian-American experimental rock band formed in Brooklyn, New York, in 2000. Angus Andrew is the founding and only constant member of Liars, currently joined by multi-instrumentalist Cameron Deyell and drummer Laurence Pike.
