Amanda Lovejoy Street
Amanda Lovejoy Street is a filmmaker and Dream Work Teacher based in upstate New York and Los Angeles. Her work explores our relationship with the unconscious and what is unearthed when we allow the unconscious impulses and images to arise. Her first short film, ''MAGIC BULLET'' (with Rosemarie DeWitt and Molly Parker) premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival in 2018. It went on to win Best Narrative Short at Indie Memphis, play at favorite festivals such as Maryland Film Festival and land a spot as a Vimeo Staff Pick. In 2019 she directed the Chk Chk Chk video for their song Ur Paranoid (Warp Records). As a student of the legendary Sandra Seacat, Street was first exposed to the relationship between creativity and dreams. K Records is an independent record label in Olympia, Washington founded in 1982. Artists on the label included early releases by Beck, Modest Mouse and Built to Spill. The record label has been called "key to the development of independent music" since the 1980s. The label was founded by Beat Happening frontman Calvin Johnson and managed for many years by Candice Pedersen. Many early releases were on the cassette tape format, making the label one of the longest lasting reflections of the cassette culture of the 1970s and early 1980s. Although itself releasing primarily offbeat pop music and indie rock, the DIY label is regarded as one of the pioneers of riot grrrl movement and the second wave of American punk in the 1990s. Karl Gajdusek is an American screenwriter, producer, and playwright. He was the showrunner for the first season of the Netflix series ''Stranger Things'' and the co-creator of the TV series '' Last Resort'' with Shawn Ryan. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA; ) is a drama school in London, England, that provides vocational conservatoire training for theatre, film, television, and radio. It is based in the Bloomsbury area of Central London, close to the Senate House complex of the University of London and is a founding member of the Federation of Drama Schools.
