Wales Ladies Championship Of Europe
The WPGA Championship of Europe was a women's professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour. The tournament was first played in 1979 in France, the first WPGA event held outside the United Kingdom. It was revived 1996 at Gleneagles in Scotland, titled the McDonald's WPGA Championship, and was the first event on the tour to be played solely for charity. Dame Laura Jane Davies, (born 5 October 1963) is an English female professional golfer. She has achieved the status of her nation's most accomplished female golfer of modern times, being the first non-American to finish at the top of the LPGA money list as well as winning the Ladies European Tour (LET) Order of Merit a record seven times: in 1985, 1986, 1992, 1996, 1999, 2004 and 2006. As of 2018, Davies has 87 professional wins worldwide, with 20 on the LPGA Tour, including four majors. From 1985 to 2010, she won at least one individual title somewhere in the world every season, except for 2005, and was the first golfer, male or female, to win tournaments on five continents in one year. Bettina Hauert
Bettina Alexandra Hauert (born 18 June 1982) is a German professional golfer and member of the Ladies European Tour. Amateur career Born in Hagen, Germany, Hauert was the individual champion at the 2003 Sherry Cup. She was also a member of the 2003 European team at the Vagliano Trophy. Professional career Hauert won the Ladies European Tour qualifying school in 2003, and in 2004 become the first female golf professional to take a place alongside the men on the Playing Pro Team of the PGA of Germany. In her first three seasons on tour her best finish was a tie for seventh at the Scandinavian TPC hosted by Annika. Joanne Nicole Mills (born 18 December 1969) is an Australian golfer, and former player on the Ladies European Tour. Mills was born in Sydney, New South Wales. As an amateur, she won the 1991 New South Wales Strokeplay Championship, the 1992 Tasmanian Strokeplay Championship, and the 1993 Victoria Strokeplay Championship. After turning professional in 1993, she won the 1997 Ladies' German Open, and, ten years later in 2007, the S4/C Wales Ladies Championship of Europe. Martina Eberl
Martina Eberl (born 29 June 1981) is a German professional golfer. She played on the Ladies European Tour (LET) between 2003 and 2012 and won four tournaments. In addition to her four LET wins, Eberl was runner-up at the 2004 BMW Ladies Italian Open, one stroke behind Ana Belén Sánchez, and again at the 2006 Ladies English Open, one stroke behind Cecilia Ekelundh, and in 2008 lost a playoff to Lotta Wahlin at the Wales Ladies Championship of Europe. Lotta Wahlin
Lotta Wahlin (born 13 December 1983 in Linköping) is a retired Swedish professional golfer. She played on the Ladies European Tour 2006–2012 and won three events in 2008. Professional career Wahlin turned professional in June 2004, as she took a step up from the Teen Tour Elite circuit to join the Swedish Golf Tour. Between 2005 and 2010 she won five titles on the tour, including back-to-back victories in the Rejmes Ladies Open, and a triumph in the final of the Swedish Matchplay Championship against Kaisa Ruuttila. Wahlin joined the LET in 2005 after she earned limited status at Q-School. Her most successful season was in 2008, when she won three events and finished the season 7th on the LET Order of Merit.
