WSLP (100.7 FM, "Lake FM") is a commercial variety hits radio station broadcasting from Ray Brook, New York. It is owned by Jonathan Becker, through licensee North Country Radio Corp. The station was formerly WXMR with a tagline called "Radio Bistro". The call sign was changed to WPLB on August 6, 2012; it eventually changed to a country music format, "Kickin' Country," which was simulcast with WNMR (107.1 FM, now WWFK) and competed with WOKO and WTNN. In March 2016, the station was leased to WIRY. Lake Placid is a village in the Adirondack Mountains in Essex County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 2,303. The village of Lake Placid is near the center of the town of North Elba, southwest of Plattsburgh. Right of first refusal (ROFR or RFR) is a contractual right that gives its holder the option to enter a business transaction with the owner of something, according to specified terms, before the owner is entitled to enter into that transaction with a third party. A first refusal right must have at least three parties: the owner, the third party or buyer, and the option holder. Saranac Lake is a village in the state of New York, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 5,406, making it the largest community by population in the Adirondack Park. The village is named after Upper, Middle and Lower Saranac lakes, which are nearby. The village of Saranac Lake covers parts of three towns ( Harrietstown, St. Armand, and North Elba) and two counties (Franklin and Essex). The county line is within two blocks of the center of the village. At the 2010 census, 3,897 village residents lived in Harrietstown, 1,367 lived in North Elba, and 142 lived in St. Armand. Tupper Lake, New York
Tupper Lake is a town in the southwest corner of Franklin County, New York, United States. The population was 5,971 at the 2010 census. The town contains a village called Tupper Lake. Until July 2004, the town was known as "Altamont", not to be confused with the village of Altamont in Albany County. History In 1850, the Pomeroy Lumber Company began a logging operation in the area. A clearing left by clear-cutting the forest by Raquette Pond became the site of the village of Tupper Lake. In the 1890s, a large number of buildings were erected, but in 1899 a fire burned 169 of them to the ground. As the lumber business swelled, the village of Faust became a railroad hub, and so the village of Tupper Lake prospered.
