Wyoming Highway 93 (WYO 93) is a north–south (northwest-southeast) Wyoming State Road located in central Converse County northwest of Douglas. Route description Wyoming Highway 94 begins at Wyoming Highway 59 on the western edge of Douglas, just north of exit 140 of Interstate 25. Highway 93 heads west, and then turns northwest as briefly parallels I-25/US 20/US 26/US 87 before turning north. Highway 93 turns back northwest again as it now parallels railroad track through the community of Morton, and heads to head to the community of Orpha. The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is a government agency charged with overseeing transportation infrastructure for the U.S. state of Wyoming. Converse County, Wyoming
Converse County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wyoming. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 13,751. Its county seat is Douglas. History Converse County was created in 1888 by the legislature of the Wyoming Territory, of area annexed from Albany and Laramie counties. Converse County was named for A.R. Converse, a banker and rancher from Cheyenne, Wyoming, who was co-owner with Francis E. Warren in a large ranch in the eastern part of Converse County. A portion of Converse County territory was annexed for the formation of Niobrara County in 1911. Converse County was slightly enlarged with territory from Albany County in 1955 after a special election. An elected commission governs each Wyoming county. Commissioner David R. Wyoming Highway 59 (WYO 59) is a north–south state highway that runs from Douglas to the Montana–Wyoming State Line, where the roadway continues as Montana Highway 59. Route description Douglas Wyoming Highway 59 begins its southern end at an intersection with I-25 BUS/ US 20 BUS/ US 26 BUS/ US 87 BUS (W. Interstate 25 (I-25) is a part of the Interstate Highway System that runs from Las Cruces, New Mexico, to Buffalo, Wyoming. In Wyoming, the Interstate Highway runs from the Colorado state line near Cheyenne north to its national terminus at I-90 near Buffalo. I-25 connects Wyoming's largest city and capital, Cheyenne, with its second largest city, Casper, and the smaller communities of Wheatland, Douglas, and Buffalo. Wyoming Highway 95 (WYO 95) is an overall east-west Wyoming State Road located in central Converse County and serves the towns of Glenrock, Rolling Hills, and areas northeast of those communities.
