World Trade Center Metro Manila
The World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM) is an exhibition center in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines.The first phase of venue was inaugurated by then President Fidel Ramos on October 28, 1996. The WTCMM is the first exhibition center in the Philippines to be listed by the UFI and is a member of the World Trade Centers Association. ''Wushu'' (), or ''Kung fu'', is a hard and soft and complete martial art, as well as a full-contact combat sport. It has a long history in reference to Chinese martial arts. It was developed in 1949 in an effort to standardize the practice of traditional Chinese martial arts, yet attempts to structure the various decentralized martial arts traditions date back earlier, when the Central Guoshu Institute was established at Nanking in 1928. The 2019 Southeast Asian Games, officially known as the 30th Southeast Asian Games, or the 30th SEA Games, and commonly known as Philippines 2019, was the 30th edition of the Southeast Asian Games, a biennial regional multi-sport event which was held in the Philippines from 30 November to 11 December 2019. However, due to a narrow calendar, some sports started before the opening ceremony as early as November 24. Wong Weng Son, also known as Vincent Wong (; born September 9, 1992) is a wushu taolu athlete from Malaysia. He is one of Malaysia's most renowned wushu athletes of all time and is a two-time world champion. Career Early career Wong began practicing wushu at the age of ten when his father took him to wushu classes. Wong's father is also a lion dancer and so Wong practiced it before pursuing wushu more seriously. Competitive career: 2013-present Wong's international debut was at the 2013 Southeast Asian Games in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar, where he won a silver medal in men's duilian. Edgar Xavier Marvelo (born December 16, 1998) is a Wushu (sport), wushu taolu athlete from Indonesia. He is a three-time world champion as well as a medalist at the Asian Games and the Southeast Asian Games. Career Junior Marvelo began practicing wushu at the age of six. During his youth, he won a gold medal in gunshu at the 2010 World Junior Wushu Championships respectively. He won a gold medal at the 2014 ASEAN School Games and a year later in 2015, Marvelo was the Indonesian youth national champion. Jowen Lim Si Wei (; born: January 6, 1999) is a Singaporean wushu taolu athlete. Career Junior Lim started practicing wushu at the age of six. Between 2010 and 2014 he made three appearances at the World Junior Wushu Championships and became a two-time world junior champion. Lim also competed twice at the Asian Junior Wushu Championships and is a one-time Asian junior champion. Phạm Quốc Khánh (born 2 September 1990) is a wushu athlete from Vietnam. Career Khánh's first major international victory was at the 2006 Asian Games, where he won the silver medal in men's nanquan. A year later, he became the world champion in nanquan at the 2007 World Wushu Championships. He also won the silver medal in nanquan at the 2007 Southeast Asian Games.
