Wu Ming-ji
Wu Ming-ji or Wu Ming-chi () is a Taiwanese politician. He was the Deputy Minister of the Council for Economic Planning and Development (CEPD) of the Executive Yuan in 2012–2013. Early life Wu earned his doctoral degree from the Graduate Institute of Technology and Innovation Management from National Chengchi University. Political career Prior to his appointment as the CEPD deputy ministry, Wu was the Director-General of the Department of Industrial Technology of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. He is currently also the Director-General of Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Council For Economic Planning And Development
The Council for Economic Planning and Development (CEPD; ) was a government agency responsible for drafting overall plans for national economic development in Taiwan (ROC). It also assessed development projects, proposals and programmes submitted to the Executive Yuan. It also coordinated the economic policy making activities of ministries and agencies and the monitoring the implementation of development projects, measures and programmes. Kuan Chung-ming
Kuan Chung-ming (; born 15 August 1956) is a Taiwanese politician and academic. He was the last minister of the Council for Economic Planning and Development from 2013 to 2014 and served as the first minister of the succeeding government agency, the National Development Council (NDC), from 2014 to 2015. He is currently the President of National Taiwan University and a Chair Professor in the Department of Finance of National Taiwan University. Education Chen obtained his bachelor's and master's degree in economics from National Chengchi University in 1987 and 1989 respectively. National Chengchi University () is a public research university in Taipei. The university is also considered as the earliest public service training facility of the Republic of China. Taiwanese people may be generally considered the people of Taiwan who share a common culture, ancestry and speak Taiwanese Mandarin, Hokkien, Hakka or indigenous Taiwanese languages as a mother tongue. Executive Yuan
The Executive Yuan () is the executive branch of the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Its leader is the Premier, who is appointed by the President of the Republic of China, and requires confirmation by the Legislative Yuan. Under the amended constitution, the head of the Executive Yuan is the Premier who is positioned as the head of government and has the power to appoint members to serve in the cabinet, while the ROC President is the head of state under the semi-presidential system, who can appoint the Premier and nominate the members of the cabinet.
