''Writing to Remember'' is the first compilation album by Canadian Singer/Songwriter Matt Brouwer. The album was released on November 25, 2014 and features a collection of the 14 best loved songs from Brouwer's previous 4 studio albums. All the songs have been remastered and some re-mixed as well. The album includes one brand new single which appears as the first track on the project called, "Waking Up". Matt Brouwer
Matt Brouwer (born February 28, 1976) is a Canadian singer and songwriter. While in college, he and fellow students founded the band Monday Night Worship (MNW). Because of the spiritual content of his lyrics he was 'discovered' by a Nashville record company in 2000, and in 2001 recorded his solo debut CD ''Imagerical''. The album was released on May 29, 2001, on Reunion Records. He then formed his own label called Black Shoe Records and released albums titled ''Unlearning'' in 2005, ''Where's Our Revolution'' (Universal) in 2009, and ''Till The Sunrise'' in 2012. Brouwer's music is known for its Contemporary Christian message as he shares his life's story of tragedy (the death of his father) and hope (his spiritual pilgrimage) with his listeners. Michael Omartian
Michael Omartian (born November 26, 1945) is an American singer-songwriter, arranger, keyboardist, and music producer. He produced number-one records in three consecutive decades. He has earned 11 Grammy Awards nominations and won three. He spent five years on the A&R staff of ABC/Dunhill Records as a producer, artist, and arranger; then was hired by Warner Bros. Records as an in-house producer and A&R staff member. Jennifer Judy "JJ" Heller (born October 19, 1980, '' née'' Kellner) is an American Christian folk singer. After releasing multiple albums, she had two songs that charted. "Your Hands" from her 2008 album ''Painted Red'' and "What Love Really Means" from the album ''When I'm with You'' both peaked at number 13.
