WrestleDream (2023)
The 2023 WrestleDream was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It was the inaugural WrestleDream and took place on October 1, 2023, at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington, marking AEW's first PPV to be held in the state of Washington. The event was a tribute show in honor of New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) founder Antonio Inoki; it took place on the one-year anniversary of his death. Fourteen matches were contested at the event, including four on the "Zero Hour" pre-show. In the main event, Christian Cage defeated Darby Allin by 2–1 in a two out of three falls match to retain the AEW TNT Championship. Antonio Inoki
Muhammad Hussain Inoki (born ; February 20, 1943 – October 1, 2022) was a Japanese professional wrestler, martial artist, politician, and promoter of professional wrestling and mixed martial arts. He was best known by the ring name , a homage to fellow professional wrestler Antonino Rocca. Inoki was a twelve-time professional wrestling world champion, notably being the first IWGP Heavyweight Champion and the first Asian WWF Heavyweight Champion – a reign not officially recognized by WWE. Bryan Danielson
Bryan Lloyd Danielson (born May 22, 1981) is an American professional wrestler. He is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a member of the Blackpool Combat Club. He is also known for his time in WWE, where he worked from 2009 to 2021 under the ring name Daniel Bryan. Danielson began his professional wrestling career in 1999 on the independent circuit, and signed an 18-month contract with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) in 2000; he later went on to make uncontracted appearances in WWE until 2003. In the English speaking professional wrestling culture, a "dirt sheet" is a wrestling magazine, wrestling newsletter or website that covers professional wrestling from a real-life perspective as opposed to treating the storylines as real. Another term sometimes used for these publications is "rag sheet." The 2023 All In, also promoted as All In London at Wembley Stadium or simply All In London, was the second All In professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event. It was the first edition of the event to be produced by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) after the inaugural All In was held independently in September 2018, which subsequently inspired the formation of AEW in January 2019. The event took place during the United Kingdom's August Bank Holiday weekend on August 27, 2023, at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
