World Of Fantasy (album)
''World of Fantasy'' is the twelfth studio album by the Japanese electronica band Capsule, released on May 25, 2011, in Japan. The album was originally due for release with the title of ''Killer Wave''. After the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake occurred on March 11, 2011, Yasutaka Nakata announced that the album's release (which was previously announced as March 23, 2011) was postponed and due for release at an unknown date for cover art rework and renaming. "Killer Wave" was then considered a "working title". This is the first album of the duo with all songs sung by the vocalist Toshiko Koshijima. It is also their first completely English-language album. The digital single "World of Fantasy" was released via iTunes on February 8, 2011. Meanwhile, "Prime Time" was used in a commercial for Vantan Design Institute, first shown on February 21, 2011. Capsule (band)
is a Japanese electronica band consisting of producer Yasutaka Nakata and vocalist Toshiko Koshijima. Career Capsule formed in November 1997, after Yasutaka Nakata and Toshiko Koshijima met at the Teens' Music Festival in the Hokuriku area convention when they were both 17 years old. Their first single was "Sakura", released in March 2001 on Yamaha Music Communications. Their first album, ''High Collar Girl'', was significantly different from their later works in that it did not involve nearly as much use of synthesizers or contain futuristic/electronic sounds. Capsule's style in albums up to ''L.D.K. Lounge Designers Killer'' (2005) was frequently referred to as "neo-Shibuya-kei" due to their stylistic similarities, both aesthetically and musically, to acts from the Shibuya-kei movement of the 1990s, most notably Pizzicato Five. Electro house is a genre of electronic dance music characterized by heavy bass and a tempo around 130 beats per minute. The term has been used to describe the music of many ''DJ Mag'' Top 100 DJs, including Benny Benassi, Skrillex, Steve Aoki & Deadmau5. Yasutaka Nakata
is a Japanese DJ and music producer. He formed the band Capsule in 1997 with vocalist Toshiko Koshijima and himself as composer and record producer when both were 17. The band debuted in 2001 with the song "Sakura". He is known for being the music producer of Japanese girl group Perfume and Japanese model-turned-singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu since 2003 and 2011, respectively. These artists have gained commercial success for their songs that Nakata wrote and produced, such as " Chocolate Disco", "Polyrhythm", "Fashion Monster", and " Ninja Re Bang Bang". Produced, composed and written by Capsule member Yasutaka Nakata, ''Stereo Worxxx'' was the duo's last album with their label Yamaha until transferring with Warner Music Japan and Nakata's own label, Unborde. Toshiko Koshijima
is a Japanese singer. Along with composer, record producer and DJ Yasutaka Nakata, she is the lead vocalist of the electronica band Capsule, which she formed in 1997 with Nakata when they were both 17.
