''World Journal'' () is a U.S. newspaper printed in Chinese. It is the most influential Chinese language newspaper in the United States and one of the largest Chinese language newspapers outside of Greater China, with a daily circulation of 350,000. The newspaper is headquartered in the Whitestone neighborhood of Queens in New York City. ''World Journal'' is published in major cities in the United States with large overseas Chinese populations including New York as well as Los Angeles, and San Francisco. The publication is widely sold in many Chinatowns and major suburbs. Subscription is available in the United States and Canada. It was established on January 15, 1993, and originally published only one journal: the Chinese-language ''Journal of New Digestology'' (renamed to the ''World Chinese Journal of Digestology'' in 1999; ). Waves of Chinese emigration have happened throughout history.
