Wonders Of The Younger
''Wonders of the Younger'' is the sixth studio album by American rock band Plain White T's. It was released by Hollywood Records on December 7, 2010, and was produced by Ian Kirkpatrick. The collection of the songs was designed to evoke the feeling of awe and the yearning for adventure remembered from youth. On September 9, the album art was revealed on the band's official MySpace account. On September 13, the album finished up with mastering engineer Brian "Big Bass" Gardner at Bernie Grundman Mastering in Hollywood. Background Frontman Tom Higgenson says of the album, "It's still very much a Plain White T's album. The songs are sincere and melodic, no matter what the subject matter. We want to create an experience that takes our fans to an unexpected place while still giving them songs to sing along to." Plain White T's are an American Rock music, rock band from Lombard, Illinois, formed in 1997 by high school friends Tom Higgenson, Dave Tirio, and Ken Fletcher, and joined a short time later by Steve Mast. The group had a mostly underground music, underground following in Chicago basements, Nightclub, clubs, and Bar (establishment), bars in its early years. The band had a List of number-one hits (United States), number-one hit song with "Hey There Delilah", which achieved RIAA certification, platinum status in 2007 and earned two Grammy Award, Grammy nominations. Joseph Cultice
Joseph Cultice is an American photographer. Cultice began his photography career in Phoenix, Arizona, where he was inspired by his love of rock 'n' roll and pop icons like KISS and David Bowie. His first photo shoot was with rock band The Meat Puppets. He moved to New York City in 1990. Cultice's fashion work has been singled out by the annual 2001 Art Director's Young Guns exhibit, featuring one of his most recent stories. Cultice has also worked with shock rocker, Marilyn Manson on numerous accounts directing both the Marilyn Manson documentary, " Dead to the World"as well as the music video for Manson's contribution to David Lynch's film, ''Lost Highway'' "Apple of Sodom". "1, 2, 3, 4" (sometimes subtitled "I Love You") is the second single from the Plain White T's second worldwide album, ''Big Bad World''. It reached #34 on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot 100 in April 2009 and was certified Platinum in June 2011, having sold over 1 million digital copies. The record has since gone 2× Platinum. Chart performance Since its release in December 2008, the song has been compared to the band's earlier hit "Hey There Delilah" because of its acoustic rock sound. Sean McConnell
Sean McConnell is an American folk and country singer-songwriter. Biography McConnell was born in Athol, Massachusetts to two folk singers who played in local venues in the Boston area. His family moved to Georgia when he was eleven years old, and while there he began playing guitar and writing his own songs. McConnell attended Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where he performed regionally and continued songwriting. John Feldmann
John Feldmann (born June 29, 1967) is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. He serves as the lead singer/guitarist of the band Goldfinger. Early life Feldmann grew up in Saratoga, California. He started writing songs around the age of 13 or 14. Around that time, he met the band Social Distortion, and was inspired to be like them. Weighted Mean
The weighted arithmetic mean is similar to an ordinary arithmetic mean (the most common type of average), except that instead of each of the data points contributing equally to the final average, some data points contribute more than others. The notion of weighted mean plays a role in descriptive statistics and also occurs in a more general form in several other areas of mathematics. Standard Score
