Wolfgang Blenk
Wolfgang Blenk (28 July 1926, Dornbirn, Austria – 20 July 1996, Dornbirn) was an Austrian politician for the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) in Vorarlberg. He was, from 1970 to 1990, was a member of the National Council of Austria for the ÖVP. Political Work On April 4rd, 1943, Blenk asked to join the Nazi Party. He was admitted six days laters with membership no. 9,850,951. After attending grammar school in his hometown of Dornbirn, Blenk studied jurisprudence at the University of Innsbruck, where he received his doctorate in 1949. Blenk was a member of the KMV Siegberg Dornbirn, Cartellverband, and the AV Austria Innsbruck. Dornbirn
Dornbirn () is a city in the westernmost Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It is the administrative centre for the district of Dornbirn, which also includes the town of Hohenems, and the market town Lustenau. Dornbirn is the largest city in Vorarlberg and the tenth largest city in Austria. It is an important commercial and shopping centre. Geography Location Dornbirn is located at 437 metres above sea level in the Alpine Rhine Valley, at the foot of the Karren mountain, part of the Bregenz Forest Mountain chain at the edge of the Eastern Alps. Andrea Kaufmann
Andrea Kaufmann (née Blenk; born 19 March 1969, in Dornbirn, Austria) is an Austrian politician for the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) from Vorarlberg. She was, from 2009 to 2013, a regional member of the Vorarlberg state government and is currently mayor of Dornbirn. Kaufmann is the daughter of national councilman Wolfgang Blenk. Andrea Kaufmann is married and lives with her husband and two daughters and two sons in Dornbirn. Education Kaufmann attended the Higher Commercial School in Rankweil, where she graduated. She then began, in 1988, to study international business at the Vienna University of Economics and in 1989 a study of economics at the University of Konstanz. From 2000 to 2002, Kaufmann also attended university courses for Civic Education in Schloss Hofen.
