With Our Arms to the Sun is an American post-metal band formed in Arizona in 2012. The band consists of Josh Breckenridge (vocals, guitar, noise), Joseph Leary (guitar), and Joseph Breckenridge Jr. (bass). History Originally a solo demo project, Josh Breckenridge recorded an early draft of ''Delicate Union of Minds'' in his home studio. He approached his brother Joseph Breckenridge Jr. and childhood friend Joseph Leary to collaborate and the completed EP was released on social media in early 2013. They quickly followed up with the well received LP ''The Trilogy'' in August of the same year. The album featured cover art by Chet Zar. The band began touring regionally in the American Southwest and was featured on the score of the documentary ''Chet Zar: I Like to Paint Monsters''. Socionic is an American, progressive, hard rock band formed in Los Angeles, California by singer and songwriter Michael Meinhart in 2008. History Origin The band was originally formed as a multi-media studio side project in 2008 by Michael Meinhart while he was performing with other bands around Los Angeles. The project has since developed into a full band with the addition of members Matthew Denis (bass) and Lior Dar (drums) and has played shows all around Southern California and up the West Coast opening up for other acts such as Fear Factory and Jonathan Davis. Roger "Buzz" Osborne (born March 25, 1964), also known as King Buzzo, is an American guitarist, vocalist and songwriter. He is a founding member of the rock band Melvins, as well as Fantômas and Venomous Concept. Biography Born in Morton, Washington, Osborne is of English, Italian and Jewish descent. He moved to Montesano, Washington at the age of 12. He first started listening to the music of Aerosmith and Ted Nugent, then became greatly interested in punk rock after a few years. In the early 1980s, Osborne founded the Melvins with Matt Lukin and Mike Dillard who all attended Montesano High School (Wheeler Building) where he graduated in 1982. Melvins (sometimes The Melvins) are an American rock band formed in 1983 in Montesano, Washington. Their early work was key to the development of both grunge and sludge metal. Initially, they performed as a trio but later also sometimes appeared as a quartet, with either two drummers or two bassists.
