Witchman
John Roome (born 26 August 1968, a.k.a. Witchman) is a hip hop/breakbeat artist who has worked with The Orb and The Jungle Brothers. Having completed the score on five movies (''Messengers'', ''Dead End Road'', '' Song of Songs'', ''Want'' and '' Final Curtain'') he has provided material for John Leguizamo's '' Undefeated'' and ''Into the Sun'', as well as John Carpenter's ''Masters of Horror''. Roome has contributed music to various other projects including popular television shows like ''Cold Case'', ''CSI: Miami'', ''CSI: NY'', ''Nip Tuck'' and ''Las Vegas''. Terminal Power Company
Terminal Power Company was a British alternative music band. History Formed in 1989 in Birmingham, England, by Paul Aspel and John Roome, designed specifically to be a "cyberpunk band", the band cited many diverse visual influences on their music. Amongst these were William Gibson, John Shirley - Authors, Blade Runner, Aliens, Spaghetti Westerns and Film Noir. Essentially the band was formed to create virtual sound tracks for these types of films and books. Their first demo tapes were received well and in early 1990 TPC signed to Situation Two and soon released their first single "Wired" (SIT 80). Following the release of "Wired" they signed a three-album contract with Beggars Banquet Records. Deviant Records
Deviant Records was a London-based electronic music record label founded by publisher and music producer Rob Deacon in 1994. They published bands such as Pentatonik, Node (Flood, Ed Buller, Mel Wesson, Dave Bessell), Schematix, The Orb, Humate, Phat Gecko (Luke Corradine), Spooky, and Witchman. Deviant grew to be one a major independent dance label and represented Paul Van Dyk, now one of the world's most successful DJs, and DJ Sammy. The Orb
The Orb are an English electronic music group founded in 1988 by Alex Paterson and Jimmy Cauty. Known for their psychedelic sound, the Orb developed a cult following among clubbers "coming down" from drug-induced highs. Their influential 1991 debut album ''The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld'' pioneered the UK's nascent ambient house movement, while its UK chart-topping follow-up ''U.F.Orb'' represented the genre's commercial peak.
