State Trunk Highway 122 (often called Highway 122, STH-122 or WIS 122) is a state highway in the US state of Wisconsin. It runs north–south from WIS 77 in Upson to the Michigan border near Saxon; the route is located entirely within Iron County. WIS 122 is maintained by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT). Route description WIS 122 begins at a junction with WIS 77 in the unincorporated community of Upson, Wisconsin. The highway heads northward through the town of Anderson. The route passes through a forested area and intersects County Trunk Highway E (CTH-E) before curving around Weber Lake. Ironwood is a city in Gogebic County in the Upper Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan, about south of Lake Superior. The city is on US Highway 2 across the Montreal River from Hurley, Wisconsin.
