The group's musical impact in their native country has earned them numerous accolades and the title "Princes of K-pop". The group currently is composed of four members: Onew, Key, Minho, and Taemin. Originally a five-piece group, vocalist Jonghyun died in December 2017. Shinee debuted in May 2008 with their first EP, '' Replay'', on SBS' '' Inkigayo'' with their single " Replay". It was released digitally on January 27, 2017 by Universal Music Japan sub label EMI Records, while the physical edition was released on February 22, 2017. The Oricon Singles Chart is the Japanese music industry-standard singles popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Chart rankings are based on physical singles' sales. Until 2017, Oricon did not track download sales. In Japan, physical sales decreased sharply in the 2000s, while download sales hit three to four times the amount of single sales. In November 2017, Oricon introduced its first digital songs chart, separate from its main physical singles chart.
