William Kennon Jr.
William Kennon Jr. (June 12, 1802October 19, 1867) was a lawyer, judge, and a United States House of Representatives, U.S. Representative from Ohio. He served for one term from 1847 to 1849. Early life Born in Carrickfergus, County Antrim on the Ireland, island of Ireland (the entirety of which was then part of United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, the U.K.), Kennon, known locally as 'Kenno', immigrated to the United States in 1816 with his parents, who settled near Barnesville, Ohio. He was a first cousin of fellow U.S. Representative William Kennon Sr. He attended the common schools and graduated from Franklin College (New Athens, Ohio), Franklin College, New Athens, Ohio, in 1826. Joseph Morris (October 16, 1795 – October 23, 1854) was an American politician who served as a United States House of Representatives, U.S. Representative from Ohio from 1843 1847. Belmont County is a county in the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 66,497. Its county seat is St. Clairsville. Ohio's 15th Congressional District
The 15th congressional district of Ohio currently represented by Republican Mike Carey. It was represented by Republican Steve Stivers from 2011 until May 16, 2021, when he resigned to become president and CEO of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. The district includes the southern portions of Columbus as well as communities west and south of the city. It also includes the college towns of Athens and Wilmington. From 2003 to 2013 Union County and Madison County were entirely within the district's boundaries as is approximately half of Franklin County. The 15th district included the cities of Upper Arlington, Hilliard, Grove City, Grandview Heights, Plain City, London, and Wilmington, as well as the downtown and western portions of Columbus. Wheeling is a city in the U.S. state of West Virginia. Cincinnati Law School
The University of Cincinnati College of Law was founded in 1833 as the Cincinnati Law School. It is the fourth oldest continuously running law school in the United States — after Harvard, the University of Virginia, and Yale — and the first in the nation's interior.
