William Dion
William Dion (born December 18, 1987) is a Canadian curler and football player. He is a two-sport athlete and has found success both on the ice, having been the winning skip at the 2008 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, and on the field, being signed by the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. Curling career He won his first Quebec junior curling championship in 2007, playing third for Ghyslain Richard. The rink finished the round robin at the 2007 Canadian Junior Curling Championships with a 9-3 record, but the lost in the semi-final to Prince Edward Island. The following year, he won the Quebec junior title as a skip. At the 2008 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, his Quebec team went 10-2 in the round robin, and beat Ontario's Travis Fanset in the final. Drummondville
Drummondville is a city in the Centre-du-Québec region of Quebec, located east of Montreal on the Saint-François River. The population as of the Canada 2021 Census was 79,258. 2018 Tim Hortons Brier
The 2018 Tim Hortons Brier, Canada's national men's curling championship, was held from March 3 to 11, 2018 at the Brandt Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan. The winning team represented Canada at the 2018 World Men's Curling Championship from March 31 to April 8 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, United States. This marked the fifth time the Brier was held in Regina, the first time since 2006. The 2018 tournament was the first to use a new 16-team format, featuring representation by all fourteen member associations of Curling Canada, alongside the defending champions (as Team Canada), and a new wildcard team. As part of this new format, the Bronze medal game was removed from the schedule. The Hardline Quebec Tankard (French: ''Tankard Hardline''), formerly the Quebec Men's Provincial Curling Championship is the Quebec provincial championship for men's curling. The 2010 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship was held Nov. 14-21, 2009 at the Burlington Golf and Country Club in Burlington, Ontario. Nova Scotia won its seventh Mixed title, and Skip (curling), skip Mark Dacey won his second title with then-wife, Heather Smith-Dacey as his Glossary of curling#Mate, mate who won her third. Travis Mitchell Fanset (born July 26, 1991) is a Canadian curler from Tillsonburg, Ontario. A former Canadian junior runner-up, he played on the World Curling Tour From 2011 to 2017, including one season with the John Epping rink. Career Fanset and his rink of Craig Van Ymeren, Geoff Chambers and Christopher Jay won the 2008 Ontario Junior Curling Championships, defeating Neil Sinclair in the provincial final. The team represented Ontario at the 2008 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. There, Fanset led his rink to a 9–3 round robin record. The team then defeated Saskatchewan (skipped by Brennen Jones) in a tiebreaker, and then Prince Edward Island ( Brett Gallant) in the semifinal, before losing to Quebec's William Dion in the final.
