William Baker (fashion Designer)
William Baker (born 1973 in Manchester, England) is a fashion designer, fashion journalist, stylist, author and theatre director, best known for his past work with musician Kylie Minogue. Baker attended the Manchester Grammar School, where he was taught by the current head of Religious Studies Dennis Brown, and was the inspiration for Manchester indie band The Man From Delmonte's song "Pink". Baker was studying Theology at King's College London and working as a sales assistant for Vivienne Westwood in London when he met the singer Kylie Minogue and her photographer Katerina Jebb. Other work In 2007, he made his debut as a theatre director with a West End revival of ''Rent'' dubbed ''Rent Remixed'' which received mixed reviews. When asked beforehand how he was going to handle the change in direction, he claimed he said; "I'm approaching it in the same way I would approach a Kylie show or tour". Jamiroquai
Jamiroquai () are an English funk and acid jazz band from London. Formed in 1992, they are fronted by vocalist Jay Kay, and were prominent in the London-based funk and acid jazz movement of the 1990s. They built on their acid jazz sound in their early releases and later drew from rock, disco, electronic and Latin music genres. Lyrically, the group has addressed social and environmental justice. Kay has remained as the only original member through several line-up changes. The band made their debut under Acid Jazz Records but subsequently found mainstream success under Sony. The Labyrinth was the debut concert tour by British pop singer Leona Lewis. Beginning on 28 May 2010, it showcased songs from her debut album, ''Spirit'' (2007). and her second album, ''Echo'' (2009). Dates in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland were completed with Australian singer Gabriella Cilmi serving as the support act for the majority of dates. Background The tour was announced on 12 November 2009, with the confirmation of dates in Ireland and United Kingdom. Lewis' record label apparently said that money was no object. Fashion designer Antonio Berardi designed Lewis's specially commissioned ethical wardrobe for the tour, costing £175,000. The Circus Starring Britney Spears, commonly referred to as the Circus Tour, was the seventh concert tour by American entertainer Britney Spears. It was launched in support of her fifth and sixth studio albums, '' Blackout'' (2007) and ''Circus'' (2008), respectively. Rumors of a tour arose as early as October 2007, however, nothing was confirmed until December 2008, when the tour was officially announced, with North American and European dates revealed. The stage was composed of three rings and set in-the-round to resemble an actual circus. Fashion designers Dean and Dan Caten created the costumes.
