	Willi Danklmaier Willi Danklmaier was an Austrian luger who competed from the early 1980s to the early 1990s. A natural track luger, he won two medals in the men's singles at the FIL World Luge Natural Track Championships (Silver: 1992, Bronze: 1984). A luger steers by using the calf muscles to flex the sled's runners or by exerting opposite shoulder pressure to the seat. Racing sleds weigh for singles and for doubles.
