Willem Oltmans
Willem Leonard Oltmans (addressed as William Oltmans in some English publications; 10 June 1925 – 30 September 2004) was a Dutch investigative journalist and author active in international politics. Due to the highly critical stance he often took towards Dutch foreign policy, as of 1956 the Dutch government conspired to keep him out of work. A lengthy lawsuit (1991–2000) involving the Royal family led to the state having to pay him damages. Early life Oltmans was born into a wealthy family with roots in the Dutch East Indies. During the Second World War he was a member of the Dutch Resistance. "We blew up a German train," Oltmans told the Dutch daily ''Reformatorisch Dagblad'' in 2003. ''Gallery'' is an adult sex magazine published by Magna Publishing Group. It is one of the more popular "skin" magazines that arose on the ''Playboy'' magazine pattern in the 1970s. Publication history ''Gallery'' was launched by Ronald L. Fenton and trial attorney F. Lee Bailey in Chicago, Illinois. The first issue appeared on newsstands in November, 1972 bearing an uncanny resemblance to ''Playboy'' magazine, even using the same style font for the cover. Many people therefore assumed ''Gallery'' was also published by Hugh Hefner as a companion publication to ''Playboy''. After Hefner sent a letter to Bailey pointing out the magazine's similarities, the layout of ''Gallery'' was quickly changed. Financial difficulties plagued the magazine from the start, causing Bailey to leave during its inaugural year. George De Mohrenschildt
George Sergius de Mohrenschildt ( ru , Георгий Сергеевич де Мореншильд; April 17, 1911 – March 29, 1977) was an American petroleum geologist, professor, and known CIA informant. De Mohrenschildt is best known for having befriended Lee Harvey Oswald in the summer of 1962. De Mohrenschildt later alleged that their friendship continued until Oswald's death two days after the assassination of U.S. president John F. Kennedy. In actuality, De Mohrenschildt never saw Oswald, or wrote to him, after April 13, 1963—three days after Oswald's alleged attempt on the life of General Edwin Walker. Lee Harvey Oswald
Lee Harvey Oswald (October 18, 1939 – November 24, 1963) was a U.S. Marine veteran who assassinated John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States, on November 22, 1963. Oswald was placed in juvenile detention at the age of 12 for truancy, during which time he was assessed by a psychiatrist as "emotionally disturbed", due to a lack of normal family life. After attending 12 schools in his youth, he quit repeatedly, and finally when he was 17, joined the Marines. Oswald was court-martialed twice while in the Marines, and jailed. He was honorably released from active duty in the Marine Corps into the Marine Corps Reserve, then flew to Europe and defected to the Soviet Union in October 1959.
