Will Angus
William Francis Angus (born 16 April 1999) is an English former first-class cricketer. Angus was born at Bishop Auckland in April 1999. He was educated in County Durham at both Parkside Academy and Durham Sixth Form Centre, before going up to Durham University. While studying at Durham, he made a single appearance in first-class cricket for Durham MCCU against Northamptonshire at Northampton in 2019. Batting once in the match, he was dismissed without scoring in the Durham MCCU first innings by Rob Keogh, while with his off break bowling he took 2 wickets in Northamptonshire's first innings, dismissing Ricardo Vasconcelos and Adam Rossington to take figures of 2 for 71. Bishop Auckland
Bishop Auckland () is a market town and civil parish at the confluence of the River Wear and the River Gaunless in County Durham, northern England. It is northwest of Darlington and southwest of Durham. Much of the town's early history surrounds the Bishops of Durham and the establishment of Auckland Castle's predecessor, a hunting lodge, which became the main residence of Durham Bishops. This is reflected in the first part of the town's name. During the Industrial Revolution, the town grew rapidly as coal mining took hold as an important industry. Minor Counties Of English And Welsh Cricket
The National Counties, known as the Minor Counties before 2020, are the cricketing counties of England and Wales that do not have first-class status. The game is administered by the National Counties Cricket Association (NCCA), which comes under the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). There are currently twenty teams in National Counties cricket: nineteen representing historic counties of England, plus the Wales National County Cricket Club. Of the 39 historic counties of England, 17 have a first-class county cricket team (the 18th first-class county is Glamorgan in Wales) and 18 participate in the National Counties championship. Adam Matthew Rossington (born 5 May 1993) is an English professional cricketer who plays for Essex County Cricket Club. Rossington is a right-handed batsman who fields as a wicket-keeper. Ricardo Surrador Vasconcelos (born 27 October 1997) is a Portuguese-South African cricketer, who plays domestic Cricket for Northamptonshire. Robert Ian Keogh (born 21 October 1991) is an English cricketer who currently plays for Northamptonshire. Keogh is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm off break. After playing minor counties cricket for Bedfordshire, Keogh made his first-class debut in August 2012, playing for Northants against Glamorgan. This was his only first-class appearance that season, but the next year he played 8 games. In the match against Hampshire in September 2012, he scored his maiden first-class century, and then progressed to 221, including 32 boundaries before he was out. He has scored at least one century in each subsequent season, but has so far failed to reach the milestone of 1000 runs in a season, his best being 876 runs in 2015, when he played in all 18 of Northants first-class games.
