Peter Yeldham
Peter Alan Yeldham (25 April 1927 – 20 September 2022) was an Australian screenwriter for motion pictures and television, playwright and novelist. Biography Peter Yeldham was born in Gladstone, near Smithtown, New South Wales, in 1927. Leaving Knox Grammar School at 16, Yeldham briefly became a jackaroo in Queensland. Then he returned to Sydney to join Radio 2GB, first as a messenger boy and then became junior scriptwriter. He wrote several scripts and a weekly column for the magazine ''The Listener In'' before being called up for the army at 18, going to Japan with the Occupation Force, where he served with the radio unit. After returning to civilian life he married and worked freelance, writing ''Famous Trials'', ''Medical File'', ''Night Beat'', ''The Golden Cobweb'', ''For The Defence'', and many other programs that he largely originated for Grace Gibson Productions. Robin Ramsay is an Australian former television, film and stage actor. He appeared in the rural series '' Bellbird'' as Charlie Cousins, in which he was best known for the scene where he falls from a wheat silo and dies. Early life and education Ramsay is the grandson of William Ramsay, the founder and manufacturer of the shoe polish firm Kiwi, Ramsay is the disowned son of Thomas Meek Ramsay and Alice née James (1909-2009). His parents divorced, and his mother later married her long-time paramour, the architect Roy Grounds. Ramsay studied at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 1957. He worked briefly for the BBC then returned to Australia. Briony Behets (born 1951, London, United Kingdom) is an English-Australian actress who found fame acting in Australian soap operas of the 1970s and 1980s Early life Behets' father worked as a civil engineer, which took him around the world and as a result much of Behets' childhood was spent in Germany, Africa and Sierra Leone before returning to England. At age 17 she was accepted into the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, studying there for two years.
