Who Made Who (song)
"Who Made Who" is a song and a single by the Australian hard rock band AC/DC, taken from their 1986 album, ''Who Made Who''. The 12-inch single format of the single features an extended mix of the song and can be found in the Deluxe Edition of AC/DC's '' Backtracks Boxset'', on Disc 1, Studio Rarities. It was one of only three new tracks on ''Who Made Who'', because the album is not only a soundtrack to Stephen King's ''Maximum Overdrive'', but a compilation album featuring tracks from previous albums. The other two new tracks were instrumentals. "Who Made Who" peaked at #23 on the ''Billboard'' Mainstream Rock Chart on 19 July 1986, and stayed on the chart for 12 weeks. In addition to the song itself, "Who Made Who" has also been played live, mostly throughout the subsequent world tour and the Blow Up Your Video World Tour. AC/DC
AC/DC (stylised as ACϟDC) are an Australian Rock music, rock band formed in Sydney in 1973 by Scottish-born brothers Malcolm Young, Malcolm and Angus Young. Their music has been variously described as hard rock, blues rock, and Heavy metal music, heavy metal, but the band calls it simply "rock and roll". The Gibson SG is a solid-body electric guitar model introduced by Gibson in 1961 as the Gibson Les Paul SG. It remains in production today in many variations of the initial design. The following year, the flat-topped, mahogany bodied Les Paul design was given a thinner, more contoured body with a double cutaway. Not only did this make the upper frets more accessible, it was further eased by moving the neck joint outwards by three frets. Brixton Academy (originally known as the Astoria Variety Cinema, previously known as Carling Academy Brixton, currently named O2 Academy Brixton as part of a sponsorship deal with the O2 brand) is a mid-sized concert venue located in South West London, in the Lambeth district of Brixton. David Victor Mark Mallet (born 17 December 1945) is a British director of music videos and concert films. He was one of the most prolific directors of music videos in the 1980s. Greensboro (; formerly Greensborough) is a city in and the county seat of Guilford County, North Carolina, United States. The Ballbreaker World Tour was a concert tour played by the Australian hard rock band AC/DC, in support of their thirteenth studio album ''Ballbreaker'', which was released on 26 September 1995. This tour had 5 legs around the world lasting 11 months starting on 12 January 1996 in Greensboro, North Carolina finishing on 30 November 1996 in Christchurch, New Zealand. Phil Rudd
Phillip Hugh Norman Rudd (born Phillip Hugh Norman Witschke Rudzevecius, 19 May 1954) is an Australian drummer, best known as the drummer of AC/DC across three stints. On the 1977 departure of bass guitarist Mark Evans from AC/DC, Rudd became the only Australian-born member of the band. In 2003, he entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with the other members of AC/DC. In 2014, Rudd released his first solo album, ''Head Job''. The Razors Edge World Tour was a concert tour played by the hard rock band AC/DC, in support of their twelfth studio album '' The Razors Edge''. This tour had 5 legs around the world lasting 12 months starting on 2 November 1990 in Worcester, Massachusetts, finishing on 16 November 1991 in Auckland, New Zealand. Background It was the only tour to feature drummer Chris Slade until the Rock or Bust World Tour. Williams, who was struck with a kidney infection was filled in by Paul Greg on bass for several concerts on the first North American leg. Chris Slade (born Christopher Slade Rees; 30 October 1946) is a Welsh musician, best known for playing for the Australian rock band AC/DC. He drummed for the band from 1989 to 1994, performing on their 1990 album '' The Razors Edge'' along with their first live album with singer Brian Johnson, ''AC/DC Live''.
