Where The Money Is
''Where the Money Is'' is a 2000 American crime comedy-drama film directed by Marek Kanievska, written by E. Max Frye, and starring Paul Newman, Linda Fiorentino and Dermot Mulroney. The film, a box office failure, was Newman's second-to-last live-action theatrical release, though he would continue doing award-winning voice-over and live action television work for a number of years. It has also to date been Fiorentino's last theatrically released film. Plot Professional thief Henry Manning is in an Oregon nursing home's care. Having apparently had a massive stroke, he is immobile and mute. Henry is in the care of Carol Ann McKay, a high school prom queen who married her boyfriend Wayne, the prom king and star of her school's football team. Carol Ann is mesmerized by the fact that Henry was such a successful bank robber, having eluded the police for 30 years. But she starts to suspect Henry isn't as sick as he seems. Marek Kanievska
Marek Kanievska (born 30 November 1952) is a British film director. His films have won awards at the Cannes Film Festival and the Florence Film Festival. His 2004 film ''A Different Loyalty'' was entered into the 26th Moscow International Film Festival. Career Kanievska began his television directing career in Australia in the early 1970s with Crawford Productions, producing episodes of the drama series ''Matlock Police'' (1971–1976), which details the lives of policemen working in a fictional country town in Victoria (Australia), Victoria. Returning to London, Kanievska spent the latter half of the 1970s building up a range of credits including live television and entertainment programmes like ''Our Show'' (1977–1978) and the drama serial ''Rooms'' (1974). Heather Hiscox (born 18 November 1965) is a Canadian news anchor who hosts ''CBC News Now'' from 6 to 10 a.m. on weekdays on CBC News Network. She was also the host of the CBC's former flagship morning television program '' CBC News: Morning'' which became part of ''CBC News Now'' when the network re-branded itself in 2009. Biography Hiscox was born in Owen Sound, Ontario and grew up in a medical family.
