''Secret & Lies'' is the debut extended play (EP) by Japanese pop band U-ka Saegusa in dB, released on 5 February 2003 by Giza Studio. The album peaked at number twenty on the Oricon weekly albums chart and has sold over 30,111 copies nationwide. Singles "Whenever I Think of You" was released on 12 June 2002 as the lead single. The single reached number forty-one in Japan and has sold over 6,580 copies nationwide. The song served as the theme songs to the Japanese anime television series, ''Cheeky Angel''. U-ka Saegusa In DB
was a Japanese pop rock band formed in Osaka in 2002. The band consists of lead vocalist U-ka Saegusa, lead guitarist Yūichirō Iwai, lead bassist Taku Ōyabu, and drummer Keisuke Kurumatani. Signed to Giza Studio, the band released four studio albums before disbanding in 2010. They're known for performing the several theme songs for the Japanese anime series, ''Case Closed''. One of the songs, "Kimi to Yakusoku Shita Yasashii Ano Basho made", became the band's best-selling single, selling approximately 34,000 copies nationwide. Akihito Tokunaga
(born 22 September 1971) is a Japanese musical composer and arranger under Giza Studio label since 2000. Biography Since college he worked as orchestrator, then start working as a bassist. For artists as Zard, Mai Kuraki, B'z and many others from Being Inc. Tokunaga provided for them music and arrangements, participate in the live support for more than 15 years. Tokunaga is working as a bassist with high technology. He also participated in many chorus parts which he makes on his own. He is member of rock band doa as vocalist and bassist. is a Japanese composer, arranger and guitarist from agency Being Inc. In 1991, he debuted as a composer for Japanese rock band Wands debut single's b-side track ''Stray Cat''. Miki Matsuhashi
(born August 10, 1983) is a Japanese former singer and songwriter who was active between 2000 and 2003. She achieved national recognition for singing the theme song to the Japanese anime series ''Case Closed'', "Destiny". Matsuhashi had a fairly brief career as an artist. She made indies debut in the summer of 2000, releasing first extended play ''Miki Matsuhashi''. Her debut single, "Time Stands Still" was released in June 2001, and her debut studio album, ''Destiny'', was released in less than a year later. In 2001, Matsuhashi released "Destiny", a cover of Ramjet Pulley as the second single from the album. , known before as Miki Kawashima, is a Japanese musical composer, singer-songwriter, lyricist under Being Inc. records. Biography In 1986, she debuted as ''Miki Kawashima'' with the single Silk no Kuchibiru under CBS Sony label. Three years, she debuted as Daria Kawashima with the single ''Shiny Day'' under the Zain Records label. Since joining the Being agency, Kawashima has composed and wrote several songs for artists like Zard and Deen. is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Nishimori.
