Andre Williams, better known as Shy FX, is a British DJ and producer from London. He specialises in drum and bass and jungle music. Biography Shy FX's debut record was "Jungle Love", released in 1992 on the Permission to Dance label. Soon after, he signed to Sound of the Underground Records (often abbreviated as S.O.U.R.) and in 1994 released the breakthrough ragga jungle track "Original Nuttah" (featuring vocals from MC UK Apachi) which helped to cement his position as a mainstay producer of the jungle/drum & bass scene. Downtempo
Downtempo (or downbeat) is a broad label for electronic music that features an atmospheric sound and slower beats than would typically be found in dance music. Closely related to ambient music but with greater emphasis on rhythm, the style may be played in chillout clubs or as "warm-up or cool-down" music during a DJ set. Examples of downtempo subgenres include trip hop, ambient house, chillwave, psybient and lo-fi hip hop. Drum and bass (also written as drum & bass or drum'n'bass and commonly abbreviated as D&B, DnB, or D'n'B) is a genre of electronic dance music characterized by fast breakbeats (typically 165–185 beats per minute) with heavy bass and sub-bass lines, samples, and synthesizers. Liam Bailey is an English singer-songwriter from Nottingham. He is noted for his soul, reggae, and blues-influenced vocal style. Career In 2010, he released two solo EPs on Amy Winehouse's Lioness Records. Tabitha Benjamin, known by her stage name Detour City, is a British, London-based singer and songwriter. Benjamin began her career as a folk musician, but has eventually become more involved in the world of electronica. Her vocals have been used in songs by various artists, including Breakage, Dimension, and in a remix for Bastille's " Overjoyed". She has also toured with Ed Sheeran. She is best known for her collaboration with British electronic music producer Wilkinson, who has featured her in the single " Too Close" from his album '' Lazers Not Included''.
