What You Want (Mase Song)
"What You Want", also known as "Tell Me What You Want", is the second single released from Mase's debut album, ''Harlem World''. It was produced by Nashiem Myrick of the production team, The Hitmen and featured vocals by R&B group, Total. The song samples "Right on for the Darkness" by Curtis Mayfield. In the late 1990s, he recorded on the Bad Boy Records label alongside its founder Sean "Diddy" Combs to significant mainstream success. The ''Billboard'' Hot 100 is the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. Chart rankings are based on sales (physical and digital), radio play, and online streaming in the United States. The weekly tracking period for sales was initially Monday to Sunday when Nielsen started tracking sales in 1991, but was changed to Friday to Thursday in July 2015. This tracking period also applies to compiling online streaming data.
